Rector, Parish of Floreat

The Parish of St Nicholas, Floreat, is seeking a full-time Rector following the retirement of The Reverend Stephen Gibbs.

St Nicholas Church is located on a large block of land between Berkeley Crescent and The Boulevard, opposite the Floreat Forum. The Rectory is next door on Berkeley Crescent. It is currently rented, but could be available for use by the Rector.

On The Boulevard side of the block is a hall comprising meeting rooms, large hall and a commercial kitchen - all available for community use.

The Parish, ideally situated between the ocean and the city, serves a broad cross section of the community. There are excellent primary and secondary schools.

At church there are three weekly services catering for early worshippers, those who like to sing and disabled parishioners, monthly Crosslinks and family services, prayer meetings and Bible studies.

These attract a committed congregation who are both welcoming and caring with parishioners filling the roles of LPMs, LAs and service support i.e. welcomers, flower arrangers, church cleaning and maintenance.
