Child Protection/Protective Behaviours Training – Melville

The Anglican Parish of Melville is hosting a community focussed event that is proudly sponsored by the City of Melville.

This awareness is specific to parents with school age children and is presented by Ms Andrea Musulin who has worked at the coalface of child protection with the WA Police Force for 30 years.

Ms Musulin gives a very clear and powerful message on child sexual abuse, grooming and predatory behaviours, protection strategies and empowering children.

The program will include:

  • What parents and the community need to know about child sexual abuse
  • The dynamics and impact of Child Sexual Abuse
  • The construct of grooming children, their families and the environment
  • Reducing the risk of child sexual abuse occurring is how we protect  children and young people
  • An overview of the  Protective Behaviours Program
  • The Discount Hierarchy Approach
