ChurchSafe Training, Parish of Willetton

All volunteers and paid employees who are actively involved in Children’s Ministry and activities and all those in Anglican leadership roles must complete an initial ChurchSafe training workshop and then attend a refresher session every three years.

While the Diocese recognises there are many community programs available, all church workers must attend training that is facilitated and accredited by the Diocese in keeping with the Safe Ministry to Children’s Canon.

It is compulsory for all licensed Clergy to attend a ChurchSafe session within 6 months of being appointed to a position in the Diocese and attend a Professional Standards Clergy PD Day every three years. All those who hold a PTO are also required to attend a PD Day every three years.
