Welcome
The Partnership in Mission Committee of the Diocese of Perth invites you to celebrate MISSION including our partnership with the Diocese of Eldoret, Kenya on Sunday 22 September.The reading this year is Mark 9:33-37 33 They came to Capernaum. When he was in the house, he asked them, “What were you arguing about on the road?” 34 But they kept quiet because on the way they had argued about who was the greatest. 35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.” 36 He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.” |  |

We thank You for blessing us with the joy of being in each other's lives, and we ask that You continue to guide us on our path together so that we may grow deeper in love and understanding. Help us to remain open to one another.
Almighty God, you have created all people and all of creation. We give you thanks for this gift we're invited to engage with hope, joy and love as your disciples. Open our hearts and our eyes to see our communities as you would have us to see them.

We pray that every member of the Church may be witnesses of Christ by word and deed, wherever they find themselves. May the Spirit inspire each of us to offer the right word, at the right time and in the right way.
O God, you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth, and sent your blessed Son to preach peace to those who are far off and to those who are near: Grant that people everywhere may seek after you and find you; bring the nations into your fold; pour out your Spirit upon all flesh; and hasten the coming of your kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
