Parish of Murdoch-Winthrop

Our doors are open to everyone of any faith or none.

We are a vibrant, active and prayerful parish. Our grounds feature a Labyrinth which is open for all members of the community to use. Walking the Labyrinth can be a wonderful way to meditate and relax, bringing peace and calmness.

A labyrinth can be used for personal, psychological and spiritual transformation. It is a single winding path, meaning that you don't have to make a decision about which route to take. you just follow the path as it leads you into the centre and out again. At St Basil's we have built a copy of the Chartres Cathedral Labyrinth, France (built in 1220AD) for the community to use.

We provide ministry across the parish and support the work of Anglicare, St Bartholomew's House and Peduli Bali.
