Interests and expertise
I am a social worker and priest, with over a decade of experience working in parishes, not-for-profits and university education. My current work is as a social worker and counsellor in a Catholic secondary school where I use strength’s-based practice to empower young people to achieve their well-being goals.
In addition to this, I run a private practice focused on professional supervision where I work with clients to reflect on elements of their ministry and professional practice in a safe, supportive, and warm way. Using a narrative, strengths based and person-centred approach, I listen to clients talk about their lives and work and help them to implement reflective practice in their daily working lives. Together we will tease out tricky issues, paying attention to areas where you might feel stuck, and I will support you to implement a plan for your well-being.
Most importantly, the client is the driver of sessions, since you are the expert on your life. I will collaborate with you to achieve your supervision goals.
I am currently taking referrals and welcome in-person or online consultations (via TEAMS).
Fees
$140 for standard consultation.
Discounts available for part-time and non-stipendiary clergy.
