Liturgical Resources for Baptism and Confirmation

A Prayer Book for Australia offers an integrated service of Baptism and Confirmation, and is designed to be adapted depending on the age and stage of the candidates. These adaptations of APBA services may be useful when an infant or young child is being baptised.

Some guidelines are also offered that may help clergy and parish congregations welcome the families and friends of young children coming for baptism.

An adaptation of the Confirmation service is also offered, in which recently baptised adult candidates are recognised, and renew their baptismal promises with the congregation.
