Heritage Appeals

Parishes with properties on the State Heritage Register and on Municipal Heritage Inventories are encouraged to establish accounts with the National Trust of WA (NTWA). Such an account will enable donors to make tax deductible contributions to your heritage appeal.

To establish an account with NTWA an Establishment of Heritage Appeal form needs to be completed. When completing the form the “Name of the organisation” should be noted as The Perth Diocesan Trustees / Anglican Diocese of Perth / The Parish of…… (Before completing the form it is advisable to contact the National Trust and they will help you complete the form and become a member of the National Trust).

Completed forms should be sent to:

Ms Hannah Bailey
Heritage Services Officer
National Trust of Western Australia
The Old Observatory, 4 Havelock St West Perth WA 6005
PO Box 1162 West Perth WA 6872

Heritage appeals need to be accompanied by a well-planned maintenance or restoration strategy and a marketing campaign.

To make it easy for people to make contributions, parishes are encouraged to set up a donation portal on the NTWA website.

People making donations will automatically receive tax receipts for donations received through the portal. To establish a portal for your parish, NTWA just need the appropriate text and some high-resolution photos.

To assist in your marketing campaign, a link to your portal can be set up on the Be a Part of History page and your Church Directory page on the Diocesan website.
