We are seeking two Event Sales Coordinators to join the team in Swan Valley Adventure Centre on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.
Their primary responsibility will be to meet with guest coordinators or event hosts prior to functions, to make introductions, and ensure that all arrangements are agreeable. They will read and analyse event orders to gather guest information, determine proper set up and specific guest needs.
Working closely with the catering and activity teams, the Event Sales Coordinator will be responsible for the execution and delivery of all events and maximising revenue.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, passionate about creating inspiring experiences for guests, highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
Ideally, they will hold a degree or diploma in hotel management, business administration, or a similar discipline with a minimum of one-year work experience as an event salesperson or a similar role in hotels, events spaces or catering companies. They must be knowledgeable at negotiating and sales. In terms of technical skills, they must be able to demonstrate that they possess advanced computer skills, with prior exposure to hotel, sales or catering software. Flexibility to work in the evenings or at weekends will be required as the events run seven days a week.
The role will be in support of Swan Valley Adventure Centre and Wollaston Conference Centre.

Wollaston Conference Centre enjoys a wonderful central location fifteen minutes from Perth City with impressive views of Bold Park and the Indian Ocean. Wollaston offers a choice of well-appointed conference rooms suitable for groups of up to 150 people. Our rooms are suitable for large or small organisations for conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings, discussion groups and more.
Both hospitality sites are entities of the Anglican Diocese of Perth, therefore the successful candidate must be supportive of the Anglican Church and its values. They will be required to hold a National Police Certificate and a Working with Children Check.
