Rector
Parish of Kingsley-Woodvale
The liberal progressive Parish of Kingsley-Woodvale, in the northern suburbs of Perth (Western Australia), is seeking an inspirational, pastoral, and collaborative priest to lead this thriving and growing church.
St Anselm’s has a vibrant children & youth ministry and a dedicated team of clergy and lay pastoral ministers. We are committed to welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds, where each person is valued as a precious child of God and someone to be respected and loved.
As Parish Priest you will be:
- A prayerful and strong leader, with a great love for God and people, who is: inclusive; welcoming; passionate; flexible; non-judgmental; and who has a commitment to active pastoral care.
- An individual with a heart for worship and passion for the sacraments.
- A good communicator.
- Someone with a high-level of management skills who: equips others to share in leadership and ministry; and provides opportunities for learning and growth.
- A priest who is comfortable with traditional, contemporary and creative ways of Anglican worship.
- A preacher who engages theologically with the Word of God through inclusive sermons which enrich and engage the congregation.
- A person with a commitment to social justice, particularly in respect of our First Nation and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Someone who is respectful of the ministries and fellowship we already have, but who is eager to facilitate growth in other areas, particularly with respect to youth.
