Rector: Parish of Murdoch–Winthrop

St Basil’s Anglican Parish of Murdoch–Winthrop now has a vacancy for full-time ministry following the retirement of our Rector.

The Parish is situated near Murdoch University and parishioners travel to our parish from the surrounding areas and further afar. We are located south of the river with easy access to both Fremantle and the Perth CBD by public transport. All Saints College is easily accessible and there are excellent state primary and secondary schools nearby.

We are a vibrant, active and prayerful parish. Our grounds feature a Labyrinth based on the design in Chartres Cathedral which is open for all members of the community to use.

Our parish community is on a journey of spirituality and enjoys learning and growing in the faith. We are a middle of the road parish who values diversity and community.

Our parish provides support and care to those in the parish and local community and services are held in the local retirement village of St Ives and Opal. The parish also runs a Kids Music Connection program for young families and children. We provide ministry across the parish and support a range of charities through our fundraising activities and social events.

We are looking for a priest to continue to journey with us in the Faith.
