Amana Living
Amana Living
Amana Living Inc. is one of WA’s largest not-for-profit providers of aged care services and retirement living for West Australians, and an agency of the Anglican Diocese of Perth.
We have been serving the community since 1962, so you can be assured of our expertise and quality care and services. We provide full range of aged care including affordable housing for seniors, residential aged care and home care. In 2019/2020 we served more than 6,200 older West Australians, and we employed over 1,640 people.
As a not-for-profit organisation established by the Anglican Church in 1962, our aim is to provide the highest quality services in communities we serve. Amana Living operates 13 nursing homes, 17 retirement villages, two transition care facilities, four day clubs and one of WA’s largest home care services. We also have our own registered training organisation, the Amana Living Training Institute.
Amana Living has strong connections across the Anglican community. CEO Stephanie Buckland is a Council Member of Anglicare Australia and Chair of the St George’s Anglican Grammar School Council. Senior Chaplain, The Reverend Jenifer Goring, serves on the Executive Committee of the Council of Churches of WA. She is also the Pastoral Care representative on the Department of Health WA Human Research Ethics Committee and member of Provincial Council and the Diocesan Senior Staff group.
Amana Living’s enrichment program involves partnerships with Anglican schools in Perth with projects such as the Amana Living Arts Festival, a new digital literacy program called BeConnected, and the successful GenConnect program with All Saints’ College, John Wollaston Anglican Community School and St Mary’s Anglican School.
