St Andrew, Subiaco
St Andrew's Church, Parish of Subiaco
Our mission is to be faithful to Christ and each other. Everyone is welcome at St Andrew's.
We are a contemporary Catholic-Anglican parish in the western suburbs of Perth. We are a diverse collection of people. Some of us have been worshipping here for many years and some of us are newcomers; some of us are life-long Anglicans and some of us come from other traditions; some of us live right here in Subiaco and some of us live as far away as Guildford, Stirling, Dianella or Wanneroo, even Pinjarra in the south.
The foundation stone of our church was laid in 1906 and Saint Andrew’s is very much part of the social fabric of Subiaco. The doors are open through the day, seven days a week and all through the year. Candles burning in the candle bowls and entries in our visitor’s book show that, for many folk, this is a quiet and welcoming place for prayer or meditation.
We are a sister church to St Edmund's at Wembley.
Our doors are open to everyone of any faith or none.
