Parish of Mt Pleasant
As an inclusive worship community we are striving to reach out in compassionate service.
We are endeavouring to build a sense of belonging and mission with hope, justice and joy at their heart. We are committed to growing spiritually, deepening our faith in the love of Christ, and strengthening transformative relationships with God and each other.
We can often be stressed, depressed and unfocused, needing to seek peace and focus in our lives. So we find places of stillness, and learn to ‘listen with the ear of our hearts’, as the Benedictines say.
Spirituality is how we come closer to being transformed by the Divine. It is many things, yet simply, seeking for the light, love and life of the Divine to help give peace, meaning and loving kindness to us.
People experience spirituality differently and so at St Michael’s we offer a variety of windows or pathways to encounter transcendence of God
Our doors are open to everyone of any faith or none.
