St Monica, Parish of Lake Joondalup
Welcome to St Monica Anglican Community Church, Parish of Lake Joondalup; a parish under the leadership and spiritual guidance of The Revd Martha Kongor.
Inaugurated on 15th March 2025, St Monica now provides the South Sudanese Dinka community with a spiritual home; a place to worship Almighty God. This has been a long-awaited blessing.
Our congregation is made up of members from across the Perth metropolitan area, united by our Dinka heritage and a shared faith. We are committed to offering spiritual nourishment and a sense of belonging through the following ministries and activities:
- Sunday Worship
- Women’s Fellowship and Bible Study
- Youth Activities and bible study
- Sunday School
- Dinka Language School
- Community Support Services, including bereavement support and memorial services as needed
We are a church growing in faith, rooted in the Anglican tradition, while also embracing the richness of our Dinka culture and identity.
Everyone is welcome at St Monica. We look forward to worshipping and walking in faith with you.
