Through the Amana Life Recognition and Reward Program, we honour those who embody our values and demonstrate excellence in customer care, innovation, and leadership.
I’m delighted to introduce this year’s finalists for the Amana Life and Excellence Awards, as they represent our team’s remarkable talent and dedication that continues to inspire me as their CEO.
The Amana Life individual finalists include:
- Ashley Haysom is recognised for his remarkable efforts and collaborative approach to renovating short-term accommodation in record time, providing a welcoming home to new employees and their families.
- Edelyn Manalang has engaged residents through her joyful and innovative use of technology and activities. Her recent initiative to honour a resident’s career through a theatre screening demonstrates her ability to create meaningful connections and celebrate individual histories.
- Kim Woodhouse consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our day club clients. Her dedication is evident in her thorough welfare checks and unwavering support for families navigating dementia, making a profound difference in their lives.
- Shylesh Pillai is recognised for his exceptional support of hospitality services in our residential aged care homes. His approachability and dedication to improving operations have made him an invaluable asset.
The Amana Life team finalists include:
- The Accounts Payable & Supply Chain Team successfully streamlined the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, ensuring timely payments and an uninterrupted supply of goods and services, which is critical for our residential aged care homes.
- Rose Khampholsaen and Rupi Drage are recognised for their responsiveness to feedback from a mealtime experience survey. This led to improved meal quality and greater satisfaction among residents at Wearne House in Mandurah.
In the Excellence Awards, finalists Donna Yardley and Rachel Parker exemplify exceptional customer care and support during difficult times. Jennifer Crossing and Neil Mullally have driven innovative solutions that enhance care delivery and operational efficiency. Leaders Kelly Ingraham, Rachael Turner, and Sharon Maitland have shown outstanding commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for staff.
