Concerts at One Concludes
Another Successful Season
The Cathedral’s Concerts at One series has successfully concluded for 2026, following a wonderful season of lunchtime performances which brought music, creativity, and community into the heart of the city.
Thanks to the support and commitment of Josephine Christmass (pictured right), the Cathedral welcomed talented students and performers from schools and performing arts institutions across Perth. Throughout the year, visitors to the Cathedral were invited to enjoy these free concerts, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for both regular visitors and first-time guests.
The series concluded on a high note with a performance by students from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), providing a fitting finale to an exceptional program.

Each concert brought something unique and memorable. While every performance had its own special appeal, one particularly memorable highlight was the Taylor Road Quartet, a flute ensemble whose music was described by one audience member as “flowing like living water.” Of course, choosing a favourite is no easy task, as every concert offered its own moments of beauty and inspiration.
We extend our sincere thanks to all the students, schools, teachers, and performers who shared their talents with us throughout the year. Their generosity and dedication help make Concerts at One a cherished part of Cathedral life.
We look forward to welcoming performers and audiences back for another exciting season of Concerts at One in 2027.
