On 13 September 2025, a Eucharist Service was held at St George’s Cathedral to celebrate a historic milestone - the 100th anniversary of the ordination of The Revd James Noble, the first Aboriginal Anglican priest in the Diocese of Perth.

This special occasion honoured his remarkable life and enduring legacy of faith and leadership. The Archbishop also had the privilege of meeting members of The Revd James Noble’s family, hearing stories of courage, ministry, and hope that continue to inspire generations.
