Hope25 is designed to equip Australian Anglican parishes and communities for an intentional season of sharing the hope of Jesus from Easter to Pentecost in 2025.
This may include events, courses, or creative initiatives tailored to each parish’s unique context. The season of Lent is envisioned as a time for both spiritual preparation and practical training, helping believers confidently share the hope they have in Jesus. This update includes details about upcoming Hope25 training webinars, with the first session beginning on February 3rd.
As well as these webinars and the Hope25 lenten studies, parishes may want to run their own in-parish training during Lent, there are some resources available at: www.hope25.com.au/hope-sharing-training-courses
Another training approach is to run one of the video faith formation courses as a pilot course and a refresher for church regulars: www.hope25.com.au/courses
The first national Hope25 prayer meeting of 2025 will take place on Thursday, February 6. Further details will be available on the website.
Hope25 Zoom Training Workshops in 2025
A Zoom training workshop on “Sharing hope as everyday Christians” was held last November with Julie-anne Laird. This was a great success with over 50 people attending including two parish groups that met in person and watched over the same screen together.
These online training opportunities are aimed at equipping everyday Christians to share the hope of Christ and will hope to complement in person training happening in parishes during Lent in 2025.

Hope25 Short Training Videos
With the support of City-to-City Australia, additional short training videos featuring Australian Anglicans have been made available for use across parishes. These videos can be played in small groups or included in church services to encourage conversations about sharing the hope of Jesus.
