From Parkerville Children and Youth Care’s humble beginnings as a children’s home on an 18-acre block in the Perth Hills, we have evolved into a dynamic and professional organisation that is leading the way in innovative and responsive services for Western Australian children and young people.

Today, we are driving change through evidence-based therapies and expert knowledge. The safety and wellbeing of children, young people and families, and ensuring their voices are heard, remains at our heart.

While this year has thrown some challenges our way, it has been heartening to see the dedication of our team and our community to ensuring minimal disruptions to service so that children, young people and their families remain supported and have access to the services and support they need to heal and thrive.

As Christmas approaches, we want to give a gift of hope for the future and inspire memories of joy, and to do this we need your help.

Giving those most in need a bright and joyful Christmas, on a day that can often be tougher than most, is an invaluable gift.

With your donation this festive season, you can help us create a memorable Christmas for 163 children and young people currently in our care and accessing our out of home care services.

You may not get to see the joy your gift brings on Christmas morning, but your gift will have them beaming, knowing that you care!

All donations received through our Christmas Gift Drive go directly towards purchasing gifts for the children and young people in Parkerville Children and Youth Care’s care, or those accessing our services.* Should any funds remain unspent by Christmas 2022 they will go towards birthday presents or back to school items for those same children and young people, over the coming year.

Creating a brighter future for our community

With the new year on the horizon, we are looking forward to the future of Parkerville Children and Youth Care. It’s an exciting time as we consider our next steps and dream big about our potential to make a positive impact towards helping Western Australia to be the safest place in the world to bring up children and young people, and for that, we thank our supporters, our funders, our peers and colleagues, and to our ever-increasing cheer squad.

Without you we couldn’t achieve what we do, nor could we sustain ourselves without the warmth and care you send our way. The whole Parkerville Children and Youth Care team draws on the community’s positive regard, kind words, and active support so that we can in turn provide that to the children, young people, families and communities we serve.
