A Message from the Archbishop
July 2022 - Lambeth Conference
The 15th Lambeth Conference will be underway in England in just under a week’s time.
I am looking forward to being able to tell the good news of Perth Anglicans as bishops from 165 countries pray, learn, listen and plan with each other for the future at the Conference from the 26 July.
The Lambeth Conference has been meeting close to every 10 years since the first meeting in 1867.
After the COVID delay it is a joy to be meeting this year. Please pray for Archbishop Justin Welby and all the bishops gathering together.

The fifteenth Lambeth Conference
This year's theme: ‘God’s Church for God’s World’ is a great reminder for us, as Christians, that we are called upon to pray for the needs of the world.

God’s Church for God’s World
This month bishops from around the world meet together for the Lambeth Conference, one of four Instruments of Communion, distinctive to Anglicanism.

Lambeth Conference 2022: God’s Church for God’s World
The next Lambeth Conference will be hosted in Canterbury from 27 July to 8 August 2022. With the theme of ‘God’s Church for God’s World – walking, listening and witnessing together,’ the conference will explore what it means for the Anglican Communion to be responsive to the needs of a 21st Century world.
