Clergy Remuneration and Benefits

This section is intended to provide clergy, parish wardens and treasurers with a broad understanding of relevant remuneration, allowances, leave and entitlements for stipended clergy serving in the Diocese of Perth.

Stipend arrangements for clergy engaged as chaplains or similar roles with Diocesan agencies such as Amana Living, St Barts, AngliSchools, Anglicare WA, independent Anglican schools are often determined by the relevant agency or school and may differ from the remuneration minimum stipends and allowances set out in Diocesan Policies.

In most cases, with some exceptions if a clergy person is engaged directly by an agency, workplace or school, stipends, allowances and superannuation is processed through the Diocesan Office payroll and is paid monthly in equal instalments.
