Children and Youth Ministry

The Anglican Children and Youth Ministries (ACYM) is the official children and youth ministry of the Anglican Diocese of Perth. ACYM is responsible for the over-sight and facilitation of resources, services, faith formation, education, training, programs and events for young people. Our offices are located at Wollaston Theological College in Mount Claremont, Western Australia.

ACYM seeks to promote and facilitate all-age worshipping communities and ministry which begins and continues life-long faith formation. We plan on doing so by equipping and training those involved in children and youth ministry, encouraging parishes in their endeavours in this field, leasing with Anglican and local schools and celebrating the role of young people across the diocese.

We aim to provide a range of services, to nurture ministry with young people across the Diocese through:

• self-service and online resources
• diocesan-focused services
• broad parish-focused services
• networks for specific interest groups or programs
• services developed and delivered in partnership with other agencies and departments
• targeted individual assistance for parishes, agencies and individual leaders
• targeted events, camps, retreats and school holiday programs
• gap year programs and pilgrimages
• education and training opportunities.
