Police Clearance
Volunteers need to submit either:
1. Volunteer National Police Clearance (VNPC) application using the CrimCheck form
OR
2. Provide a copy of a current National Police Clearance (NPC), which must not be more than three years old.
If you have a National Police Clearance (NPC) for employment purposes and you are a volunteer in the Diocese, you are not required to apply for a Volunteer Police Clearance and a copy of your NPC must be provided to Safe Ministry Services.
Note: We are unable to accept clearance letters that do not show court disclosable outcomes e.g. TRBWA and Education Department.
Child Volunteers
We do not require volunteers under the age of 18 years to provide a Police Clearance.

Please complete the CrimCheck application form and submit to Safe Ministry via screenings@perth.anglican.org along with copies of the required ID documents (listed on page 2 of the application form).
Contact the Safe Ministry Team to discuss other options for providing the required documents.
Adverse Finding
Disclosable outcomes will be shared by CrimCheck with the applicant first, before they are shared with Safe Ministry. The Safe Ministry Services Manager (SMSM) will review disclosable outcomes and determine if further action is warranted.
