In the Community:
Schools and Training

Through the Anglican Schools Commission, we establish and support low-fee Anglican systemic schools which provide a high quality, inclusive, caring Christian education. We work closely with local communities, parish churches, government, property developers and the wider corporate sector to plan new schools in growth areas throughout Western Australia.

Parkerville Children and Youth Services offers The Education, Employment and Training (EET) Program to prepare young people aged 14 to 16, who are at risk of failing school, for the world of work. Our goal is to teach participants basic work skills and encourage them to develop a solid work ethic. We do this by giving them the opportunity to gain real experience of the world of work with all its demands and rewards.

Amana Living Training Institute (ALTI) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and have delivered quality accredited and non-accredited training to thousands of Western Australians over the past two decades. ALTI Training is approved to provide ageing, disability, home and community training programs, as well as first aid courses. The quality training programs are available to business clients, public students and individual employees, and are fully compliant with RTO regulations.

For those heading to university, we offer St George’s College, founded in 1931, and the oldest residential college at The University of Western Australia. The College has 218 residents, a blend of residents from regional Western Australia, metropolitan Perth, overseas and interstate, who study undergraduate or postgraduate courses at The University of Western Australia. Students from every background are welcome at St George’s and add to the diversity of skills and outlooks that the College encourages.

For those called to Anglican ministry, Wollaston Theological College prepares lay and ordained people for a diversity of ministries in order to create communities that make Christ’s presence known, experienced and proclaimed.
