Qualifications and accreditation

Interests and expertise

Across more than twenty years in Christian ministry, I’ve been a youth worker and school chaplain, and worked in hospital, aged care and NGO settings. I’ve served in executive leadership and governance roles. Most recently, I served eleven years as Rector of an Anglican parish. I’ve been involved in managing complex strategic and interpersonal issues. I’ve also stacked a lot of chairs and battled many photocopiers!

Nowadays, my work is freelance. I work as a trainer for community organisations. I am also passionate about Godly Play as a method of faith formation, and I’m an accredited Godly Play trainer. I am the founder and now Executive Officer of Faith Workers Alliance - Australia’s union for faith workers across all religious traditions. I still do some professional ministry on a short-term basis when needed.

My focus as a supervisor is on time and resource management, professional boundaries, self-care, goal-setting, strategic planning and conflict resolution.
