Professional Development

All clergy are expected to engage in a least 30 hours of professional supervision in each three-year cycle. 12 of these hours are mandated; the other 18 are elective.

The Diocese funds the cost of the mandatory components; parishes may wish to make a financial contribution towards the cost of the elective hours of Professional Development.

Mandatory Professional Development

The mandatory professional development component for active clergy in the Anglican Diocese of Perth for 2026 is Professional Responsibilities and Boundaries.

A range of sessions have been planned across the breadth of our Diocese so that no-one need travel too far, and to embed our learning in local community.
